Fair sharing formula: PDP youth applaud Saraki

ome old groups in the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Kwara State, under the leadership of former Speaker, House of Assembly, Honourable Tunde Mohammed has applauded the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki over what they termed as fair sharing formula and for keeping to his words.

One of the party stalwarts, Alhaji Ganiyu Olota gave the commendation during a forum meeting held in Ilorin, the State capital.

Alhaji Olota expressed that Dr. Saraki is worthy to be commended for not reneging his promise made during  a meeting held recently in Ilorin about allowing a level playing ground for all party members.

Dr. Saraki and Senator Rafiu Ibrahim had in a separate meeting promised that there would be a fair sharing, equity and Justice in the appointment of party executives.

Alhaji Olota allayed the fear of the old members who are insinuating that Dr. Saraki would hijack the party structures, nothing that the new development in the PDP is a strong indication that Justice and equity has come to stay and that the old members have promised to return fully having given the opportunity to run the affairs of the party together.

He added that one of the yearnings of the old members is the reelection of Senator Rafiu Ibrahim for second term and the choice of Honorable Shamsudeen Bada to represent Irepodun constituency in the State Assembly would make them return fully to the party.

He also congratulated the new executives and prayed god for the success of the party in the coming general election.
