igeria former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has said it
would be a welcome development if a Nigerian start up could design a global
food market for international travelers whereby travelers would place an order
on any food of their choice on a food based mobile application and transmit it
to someone in the city who can prepare and deliver.
Ezekwesili
who made this assertion on her twitter page said with the right economic
thoughts and skills, one can actually design and structure a global market out
of the cravings for home food when on a journey.
The
idea which she said someone termed to be “Transnational Food Delivery System”
or Naija Global Buka, noted
that she could pay to get herself “Moi Moi” or “Akara”
“What
do I mean? Say as a Nigerian, I arrived a city in Azerbaijan & my crave is for Akara or Moi Moi. I place an
order on their App. They transmit to someone in-city who can prepare & deliver”
