ECLIPSE
EXPECTED IN NIGERIA SEPT 1-NASRDA
An annular eclipse that will be visible all over the
country with different degrees of totality will occur on Thursday, September 1,
the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) has said.
NASRDA, in a statement yesterday, said the highest degree of
obscurity in Nigeria would be in the southern part of the country, particularly
in Lagos where it is expected to have 80% obscurity.
In the statement signed by its
Head of Media and Corporate Communications Dr Felix Ale, the agency added that
the lowest degree of obscurity would be about 45% and this would be observed in
the northern part of the country, particularly in Sokoto. Read more
