ORIENTATION AGENCY EMBARKS ON FLOOD SENSITISATION PROGRAMME IN KWARA STATE.

National Orientation Agency has embarked on sensitization of Kwarans
over the likelihood of flooding in some parts of the state in this month of
August.
This becomes imperative in the light of the flood alert received from
the Nigeria Hydro-logical Services Agency.
Kwara State Director of the Agency, Mr Felix Olowokere advised residents
of flood prone areas such as Jebba, Patigi, Edu, Baruten, Ilorin and other
communities along the bank of River Niger to take precautionary measures
against the impending flood which magnitude would be similar to the one
